Pour sa dixième pièce de 2 Euro commémorative, la République de Saint-Marin célèbre le 500ème anniversaire de la mort du peintre Pinturicchio, né Bernardino di Betto (1454-1513).

La Monnaie de Saint-Marin pour illustrer son oeuvre a choisi un détail de la fresque l'Histoire de la vie de la Vierge de la chapelle Baglioni à Santa Maria Maggiore de Spello. À l’avers de la pièce est reproduite la scène du débat de Jésus enfant avec les docteurs du Temple.

For its tenth commemorative 2 Euro coin, the Republic of San Marino celebrates the 500th anniversary of the death of the painter Pinturicchio, born Bernardino di Betto (1454-1513). The Mint of San Marino has chosen to illustrate his work a detail from the fresco The History of the Life of the Virgin from the Baglioni Chapel in Santa Maria Maggiore in Spello. The obverse of the coin depicts the scene of the debate between the infant Jesus and the Doctors of the Temple.
