C’est la première fois que nous proposons ce type précis de statère. Bien que fourré, on distingue légèrement l’épis de blé devant le cheval, typique de la classe II.
S. Scheers ne répertoriait que cinq exemplaires (deux à la BN, un à Bruxelles, un à Metz et un à Berlin). Le BN. 8936 est indiqué en bronze ; il s’agit probablement d’une monnaie fourrée comme cet exemplaire.
This is the first time we have offered this specific type of stater. Although filled, the ear of wheat in front of the horse, typical of class II, is slightly visible. S. Scheers only listed five examples (two at the National Library, one in Brussels, one in Metz and one in Berlin). BN. 8936 is indicated in bronze; it is probably a filled coin like this example.
