Caesar
Der nach der neuesten Chronologie im Februar 317 geborene Konstantin der Jüngere erhält auf Münzen wie sein Halbbruder Crispus und sein Cousin Licinius den Titel eines Cäsar sowie den Titel eines Fürsten der Jugend. Konstantin II. ist der älteste Sohn von Konstantin I. und Fausta. Im September 337 erhielt er vom Reich die „pars occidentalis“ unter Unterwerfung unter seinen Bruder Constans, wobei Constantius II. die „pars orientalis“ besaß. Sehr schnell kommt es zu einem Streit zwischen Constantin und Constans. Der Älteste wird im April 340 eliminiert.
