Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale, bien centré des deux côtés avec le grènetis visibles au revers. Beau portrait de la Liberté voilée à l’usure régulière. Joli revers de style fin, mais de frappe un peu molle. Belle patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés, légèrement oxydée en surface au revers en particulier

Poids léger, mais la monnaie ne semble pas fourrée. Denier frappé dans un atelier itinérant accompagnant Brutus. Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation inférieure à trente pour les coins de droit et inférieure à trente-trois pour les coins de revers.
Light weight, but the coin does not appear to be filled. Denarius struck in a traveling mint accompanying Brutus. For this type, Mr. Crawford noted an estimate of less than thirty for the obverse dies and less than thirty-three for the reverse dies.
